Buick Enclave: Bulb Replacement

Buick Enclave 2008-2017 Owners Manual / Vehicle Care / Bulb Replacement

For the proper type of replacement bulbs, see Replacement Bulbs. Using the correct bulb type is important for proper brightness, electrical load, fitment, lamp performance, and safe operation.

For any bulb-changing procedure not listed in this section, contact your dealer. Some lighting components may require special access, specific handling, or professional service to avoid damaging the lamp housing, wiring, connectors, seals, or surrounding trim.

When replacing bulbs, avoid touching the glass portion of the bulb with bare fingers unless the bulb design allows it. Oil from skin can create hot spots on certain bulbs and may shorten bulb life. Always make sure the replacement bulb is seated securely and that the lamp assembly is reinstalled correctly to help prevent water intrusion, loose connections, or poor lighting performance.
