Ride Control System Messages

SERVICE STABILITRAK

This message appears when a problem has been detected with the StabiliTrak® system. If the message appears, try to reset the system by stopping the vehicle, turning the engine off for at least 15 seconds, and then starting the engine again.

If the message still appears after restarting, a system problem is present. See your dealer for service. The vehicle may still be driven, but the benefit of StabiliTrak assistance may not be available, so reduce speed and drive with extra caution for the road and weather conditions.

SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL

This message appears when there is a problem with the Traction Control System (TCS). When this message is displayed, the system will not limit wheel spin as intended.

Adjust your driving accordingly, especially on wet, icy, loose, or uneven surfaces. See your dealer for service. See StabiliTrak® System for more information.

TRACTION CONTROL OFF

This message appears when the Traction Control System (TCS) has been turned off. Drive accordingly, since the system will not help limit wheel spin while it is off.

TRACTION CONTROL ON

This message appears when the Traction Control System (TCS) has been turned on.

Airbag System Messages

SERVICE AIR BAG

This message appears when a problem has been detected with the airbag system.

Have your dealer inspect the system as soon as possible. Airbag system faults should not be ignored, because the airbags or related restraint components may not operate as intended in a crash. See Airbag Readiness Light and Airbag System for more information.

Anti-theft Alarm System Messages

SERVICE THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM

This message appears when there is a problem with the theft-deterrent system. The vehicle may or may not restart after the engine is turned off, so it may be best to take the Buick Enclave to your dealer before shutting the engine down.

THEFT ATTEMPTED

This message appears if the content theft-deterrent system has detected a possible break-in attempt while you were away from the vehicle.

Inspect the vehicle carefully and check that all doors, the liftgate, and storage areas are secure. See Anti-theft Alarm System for more information.
