Convex Mirrors

Buick Enclave warning about convex passenger side mirror distance perceptionWARNING
A convex mirror can make objects, including other vehicles, appear farther away than they actually are. If you move too quickly into the right lane, you could strike a vehicle traveling beside you. Always check the inside mirror and glance over your shoulder before changing lanes.

The passenger-side mirror uses a convex design. Because the mirror surface is curved, it allows the driver to see a wider area from the seat, which can be especially useful when maneuvering the Buick Enclave in traffic or tight parking situations.

Power Mirrors

Buick Enclave outside power mirror controls located on the driver door

The controls for the outside power mirrors are located on the driver door, where they can be reached easily while seated.

To adjust each mirror:

1. Press (A) or (B) to choose the mirror you want to adjust.
2. Press the control pad to move the selected mirror in the desired direction.
3. Press (A) or (B) again to deselect the mirror when the adjustment is complete.

Folding Mirrors

On vehicles equipped with manual folding mirrors, push the mirror inward toward the vehicle to fold it. Pull the mirror back outward to return it to its normal driving position.

For vehicles with outside power foldaway mirrors:

Resetting the Power Foldaway Mirrors

Reset the power foldaway mirrors if:

► The mirrors are obstructed while folding.

► They are manually folded or unfolded by accident.

► The mirrors begin to vibrate during normal driving speeds.

To reset them, fold and unfold the mirrors one time using the mirror controls. This returns the power foldaway mirrors to their normal operating position.

► A popping sound may be heard while the power foldaway mirrors are resetting. This is normal after the mirrors have been folded manually.
