Buick Enclave: Power Windows. Sun Visors
Power Windows
WARNING
Leaving children in a vehicle with the keys is dangerous for several serious reasons. Children or other occupants could be badly injured or even killed.
They could operate the power windows, activate other controls, or even cause the vehicle to move.
The windows can operate when the keys are available, and a child could be seriously injured or killed if caught in the path of a closing window. Do not leave keys inside a vehicle with children.
When children are seated in the rear of the Buick Enclave, use the window lockout button to help prevent unintentional rear window operation.

Uplevel Shown, Base Similar
The driver door includes switches for the driver window, front passenger window, and rear passenger windows. The power windows operate when the ignition is in ACC/ACCESSORY or ON/RUN, and they may also operate while Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is active. See Retained Accessory Power (RAP).
Press the switch to lower a window. Pull up on the front edge of the switch to raise a window.
Express-Up/Express-Down Windows
► A window equipped with the express-up/express-down feature can be raised or lowered without holding the switch continuously.
Press or pull the window switch fully, then release it to activate express operation. The express movement can be canceled at any time by pressing or pulling the switch again.
Programming the Power Windows
If the Buick Enclave battery has been recharged, disconnected, or replaced, windows equipped with the express-up feature may need to be reprogrammed before express operation works correctly. To program the window:
1. Close all doors with the ignition in ACC/ACCESSORY or ON/RUN, or while Retained Accessory Power (RAP) is active.
See Retained Accessory Power (RAP).
2. Press and continue holding the window switch until the window is fully open.
3. Pull up and hold the window switch until the window is fully closed.
Continue holding the switch briefly after the window has completely closed.
4. Repeat this procedure for each window equipped with express-up operation.
Anti-Pinch Feature
The anti-pinch feature is included on windows equipped with express-up operation. If an object is detected in the path of the window while it is closing, or if certain weather conditions such as severe icing affect movement, the window will stop and lower to a factory-set position. Once the obstruction is removed, the window should operate normally again.
Rear Window Lockout

The rear window lockout feature prevents the rear passenger windows from being operated from the rear seating positions. The driver can still control the rear windows from the driver door switch panel.
Press
to activate the rear window
lockout switch. The LED light turns on when the feature is active.
Press
again to deactivate the lockout
switch.
For daily family use, the rear window lockout can be helpful when children are riding in the second or third row, especially during longer trips in the Buick Enclave.
Sun Visors

Pull the sun visor downward to help block glare from the front. To block sunlight from the side, detach the visor from the center mount and pivot it toward the side window. If equipped, the visor can also be extended along the rod for improved coverage.
