Buick Enclave: Roof

Sunroof

The ignition must be in ON/RUN or ACC/ACCESSORY for the sunroof and power sunshade to operate.

See Retained Accessory Power (RAP).

The Buick Enclave may be equipped with a sunroof over the front seats and a second fixed sunroof over the second row seats.

The rear sunroof does not open.

The switch used to operate the front sunroof is located on the headliner above the rearview mirror.

Vent: From the closed position, press and hold the front of the switch to vent the sunroof. Press and hold the rear of the switch to close it.

Express-open/Express-close:

From the closed position, press and release the rear of the switch to express-open the sunroof. Press and release the front of the switch to express-close it.

Manual Sunshade

The front sunshade is opened and closed manually.

To open the sunshade, press the button on the sunshade handle to release it, then guide it rearward.

To close the sunshade, pull it forward until it latches securely.

Do not leave the sunroof open for long periods while the vehicle is not in use. Dirt and debris may collect on the sunroof seal or in the track, which could lead to operating problems, wind noise, or blocked water drainage. Periodically open the sunroof and remove loose debris or obstructions. Wipe the sunroof seal and roof sealing area with a clean cloth, mild soap, and water.

Do not remove grease from the sunroof.
