Key and Lock Messages

REPLACE BATTERY IN REMOTE KEY

This message appears when the battery in the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter is low and should be replaced.

Replacing the transmitter battery helps maintain reliable remote locking, unlocking, and vehicle access functions for the Buick Enclave. See “Battery Replacement” under Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) System Operation.

Lamp Messages

AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL OFF

This message appears when the automatic headlamp control has been turned off.

The message clears automatically after about 10 seconds.

AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL ON

This message appears when the automatic headlamp control has been turned on.

The message clears automatically after about 10 seconds.

TURN SIGNAL ON

This message appears and a chime sounds if a turn signal remains on for approximately 1.2 km (0.75 mi). Move the turn signal/multifunction lever back to the off position to cancel the signal.

Object Detection System Messages

PARK ASST (Assist) BLOCKED SEE OWNERS MANUAL

This message appears when something is interfering with the park assist system. Dirt, snow, ice, moisture, or an object near the rear sensors may prevent the system from detecting obstacles correctly. See Ultrasonic Parking Assist for more information.

PARK ASSIST OFF

After the Buick Enclave has been started, this message appears to remind the driver that the Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist (URPA) system has been turned off.

Press the set/reset button or the trip odometer reset stem to acknowledge the message and clear it from the DIC display.

SERVICE PARK ASSIST

This message appears when a problem has been detected with the Ultrasonic Rear Parking Assist (URPA) system.

Do not rely on this system to help you park while this message is displayed. Use mirrors, direct vision, and careful judgment when backing or maneuvering. See Ultrasonic Parking Assist for more information.
