Buick Enclave warning about adjusting the driver seat only when the vehicle is stoppedWARNING
You can lose control of the vehicle if you try to adjust the seat while the vehicle is moving.

A sudden seat movement could startle you, affect your driving position, or cause you to press a pedal unintentionally. Adjust the driver seat only when the vehicle is not moving.

Buick Enclave warning about the danger of sitting with the seatback reclined while drivingWARNING
Sitting in a reclined position while the vehicle is moving can be dangerous. Even when the safety belt is buckled, it cannot protect you properly if the seatback is reclined too far.

The shoulder belt cannot work correctly because it will not rest against your body. Instead, it may be positioned in front of you, and in a crash you could move into it and receive neck or other injuries.

The lap belt also cannot work as intended. In a crash, the belt could move up over your abdomen instead of staying low across the pelvic bones.

This could cause serious internal injuries.

For proper protection while the Buick Enclave is moving, keep the seatback upright, sit well back in the seat, and wear the safety belt correctly.
